B: I can‘t wait to move out and be independent!
A: 네가 내 지붕 아래서 사는 한, 넌 내 말대로 해야 해! 알겠어?
B: 난 당장 나가서 독립하고 싶어!

independent 독립된 in(=not, opposite of) + dependre(=to hang down or hang on)independent는 형용사로서 사전적으로는 ‘독립된’, ‘독립적인’, ‘독자적인’, ‘자립심 강한’ 등의 뜻을 가지고 있다.
